If you’re looking for an easy way to solve the very annoying problem of “ghost” touches on the Moto G4+, I think you’ll be very interested by this post. This problem is causing the screen to sometimes performs unwanted extra-rapid taps on localized areas that totally ruins the user experience. Actually, it’s a shame because this device is worth the money overall. Well, enough talk and here are the few tweaks that will make the problem quite disappear:

  • Go into the Settings menu of Android 7.0 and choose Display:
    • Turn ON the Adaptive brightness option.
    • Choose the ‘standard color’ mode in the Color mode option.
  • Go into the Settings menu of Android 7.0 again and choose Battery this time:
    • Select the “three vertical dots” menu in the top right corner and choose the Battery optimization option.
    • Choose the All apps option to list all the programs installed on your device.
    • Choose Google Now Launcher and select the option “Don’t optimize”.
    • Choose System UI and select the option “Don’t optimize”.
  • Reboot the device and that’s it!

It looks like many people have this problem on both G4 and G4+, and even the G5 as far as I know. I hope this helped as it’s kind of hard to find a fix or a workaround for this issue on the Internet. And don’t forget to share your experience in the commentaries below 🙂
